Pastor Roderick L. Ware is a native of Orlando , FL. He currently resides with his wife of twelve years, Dr. Vonda Ware, in Chattanooga, Tennessee. They are the proud parents of two beautiful daughters, Kara and Jadyn Ware. He is one of two sons to Mr. And Dr. Joseph Perkins.

Pastor Ware received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia where he majored in Business Administration, concentrating in Finance. He graduated with honors from the Morehouse School of Religion at the Interdenominational Theological Center in Atlanta, Georgia with a Masters of Divinity degree, with a concentration in Church Administration and Leadership. Currently, Pastor Ware is pursuing his Doctor of Ministry at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Pastor Ware has established and operated several business ventures in his professional career. He owned and maintained a franchise of The Athlete’s Foot. He also has been a contractor with several major vendors at Orlando International Airport including Dollar Rent A Car, Budget, Avis, and Hertz. He owned a small trucking company and has served as a consultant for many small business owners.

Pastor Roderick Ware has diligently given his time and his talents to enhance the communities that he serves. Many hours and resources have been spent mentoring and counseling young men and women who are faced with challenges and concerns in their daily lives. He has also been recognized by the local governmental institutions for his commitment to serving the community and establishing himself as an agent of change.

After hearing and accepting the call of God upon his life, Pastor Ware concentrate s his efforts being a servant to God’s people. Pastor Ware has been serving in full time ministry for nine years in capacities ranging from Sunday school teacher, to church planter, to senior pastor. In continual prayer and supplication to the Lord, Pastor Ware seeks wisdom, knowledge and understanding from God to fulfill the calling that has been placed upon his life. Pastor Ware currently serves as Senior Pastor of New Monumental Baptist Church in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Most importantly, Pastor Ware has dedicated his life to proclaiming Jesus Christ and Him crucified. He lives by Matthew 6:33 that says, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you,” which enables him to “walk by faith and not by sight”.
