
First Lady Vonda Ware stands in awe at the graciousness and loving kindness of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She is truly blessed to be married to the Senior Pastor, Roderick L. Ware and the mother of their two beloved daughters, Kara Alexandria and Jadyn Alejandra Ware---her greatest joys blessed by God.
First Lady Ware was raised in Atlanta, Georgia by her parents, Mr. Jesse Arnold and Mrs. Delores Hinton Roebuck. Instilled with Christian values, self-respect, hard work, and fortitude, she was motivated from a young age. First Lady Ware matriculated with high honors graduating from Spelman College with a Bachelor in Science/Pre-Medical Concentration. Advancing to the Medical College of Georgia, she graduated at the top of her class. Her successful and rewarding residency at Emory University School of Medicine was in the field of Gynecology and Obstetrics.
Dr. Ware received high honors and accolades as a medical physician. Dr. Ware is a board certified Diplomat of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and currently specializes in Gynecology at Grandview Gynecology Associates in Jasper, Tennessee.
At New Monumental Baptist Church, First Lady considers it an honor and a privilege to serve as the facilitator/founder of the Heart to Heart Women Ministry that was birthed to empower, encourage, and equip women to grow in love-from the hearts of women to the very heart of God. Daughters of Promise, a discipleship and mentoring program for middle and high school girls, is a descendant of the Women Ministry and serves to nurture and develop strong, confident teen girls. As these teens grow in the stature and image of Jesus Christ they are becoming great leaders for God’s glory. Lady Ware also teaches the Senior High School students in Kingdom Academy challenging the students to live as ambassadors for Christ in all aspects of life despite their circumstances.
Realizing the true blessing and allowing God to use her mightily as a ‘willing vessel’ for His Glory, First Lady Ware’s popular inscription is ‘Through His Love and for His Glory’. It is her sincere prayer that everything she does be in genuine love and in truth magnifying and glorifying Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
